This role would suit someone looking for a varied school-based role where they would get involved in lessons, sports and boarding provision. It might suit someone considering teaching as a career or someone looking to enjoy a busy and rewarding post-graduate gap year.

Cothill is a thriving, family-run preparatory day and boarding school for boys surrounded by extensive grounds in the heart of rural Oxfordshire yet just seven miles from Oxford. Coupling a fine tradition with innovation, Cothill provides a happy, secure and stimulating environment, Our pupils quickly learn how to live alongside each other, form firm friendships, and develop their talents and social skills for life. Our recent ISI inspection saw us rated as 'Excellent' for both the academic and personal development of the pupils. From September 2025 the school will transition to co-educational status.

Whilst we have had much success winning academic, sport, music and art scholarships, we never lose sight of the fact that we are preparing pupils, not just for examinations, but for life. Our main role is to be guardians of childhood!
