Job overview

We are looking for an outstanding communicator and administrator to lead the admissions process at Croydon High School.

As Head of Admissions, you will oversee pupil admissions into both the Junior and Senior Schools from first contact, to visits, examinations, assessments and the first day of school. As a rapidly growing school, you will work closely with both the Director of Philanthropy and External Relations, the Senior School Admissions Registrar and the Marketing and Communications Manager to implement a continued growth strategy to attract, recruit and retain pupils at the school. 

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will possess an understanding of the principles of marketing and the customer acquisition and customer lifecycle. You will need experience of working in admissions, in addition to experience of managing databases and of working in a complex, busy, service-driven environment. You will also exhibit excellent organisational, time management and written communication skills, and will be confident in the use of computer packages including Microsoft Office (Adobe InDesign/Photoshop would be desirable).
