Full Time: 36 hours, 52 weeks per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive SEND specialist to join the College as Head of Foundation Learning. They will lead and manage Foundation Learning to ensure that a high-quality experience is delivered in line with College targets that meets the needs of the students and the local community and delivers excellent achievement.

 

The ideal candidate will have a degree and / or professional experience at an appropriate level and a teaching qualification ideally with a specialism in SEND. They will have significant knowledge of the SEND code of practice and they will have substantial knowledge and experience of delivering high quality Teaching, Learning & Assessment to learners with SEND, ideally within FE, and a record of delivering high achievement rates. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in leading and developing a team of professionals and creating a culture of excellence, inclusion and continuous improvement.
