Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of History and Politics to join a High School based in Ealing.

The High School, one of London’s leading independent girls’ day schools, has an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Head of History and Politics to lead a successful History and Politics Department in both its curricular and extra-curricular activities.

The school are looking for a well-qualified teacher of History and Politics with a passion for the subject and excellent subject knowledge, with good organisational and time management skills.  The successful candidate will teach History and Politics throughout the Senior School, including GCSE, A Level and Oxbridge preparation. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make the move into a Head of Department role or gain further leadership experience.

If you are a good communicator who can enthuse and inspire both pupils and colleagues and have exciting ideas about the teaching of History and Politics, and the ways in which History can be further developed and encouraged, they would be delighted to hear from you.
