St Joseph's College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 590 boys and girls aged 2 - 18. We provide a wide range of stimulating and challenging opportunities that our pupils embrace in both the academic and extra-curricular life of the College.

The resultant all-round education develops our pupils into well-rounded individuals who challenge themselves to ‘be our best’ in every aspect of life at the school, and beyond. Our innovative teaching and subsequent success starts in the Prep School and runs all the way through the Senior School and Sixth Form.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious Head of Netball to join our amazing faculty, with a sporting background and the ability to coach Netball to a high level, The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, well organised and demonstrate a genuine commitment to driving Netball in a gender-blind college sporting environment. We welcome applications from those in the world of professional coaching and or Education. The candidate's ability to teach academic PE at either GCSE and/or Level 3 BTEC Sport Science will be considered an advantage. In addition, you the candidate will be required to support Cricket and football as required and depending on your experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful, committed and well-established Sport Faculty. The department has a long-standing history of success at local, regional and national levels across a range of sports. We are privileged to boast amazing facilities of which are all on-site, including sports halls, award-winning outdoor pitches, state-of-the-art all-weather surface and purpose-built strength and conditioning gym which is accessible to all students. 

We have strong links with local clubs and community providers as well as high-level sporting organisations, the College is the official College partner of Ealing Trailfinders Rugby in addition to working closely with Northampton Saint and other Premiership Rugby Clubs. the College also works in partnership with Ipswich Town Football Club.

Support and professional development are a priority at St Joseph’s College. We invest in our staff by providing regular coaching, career planning and training sessions. We have an “open door” lesson policy which ensures you receive extensive support and we promote peer-to-peer sharing of practice, all designed to help you be the best teacher you can be.
