You will have an up-to-date knowledge of mainstream education, have a solid understanding of areas of provision and how these can benefit and enhance learning for all pupils, in particular those with SEND.

We are looking forward to welcoming someone with the ambition and drive to take the school forward as we start a new chapter in the development and progression of the school as we are in the process of converting to Academy status with Cockburn Multi-academy Trust.

Cockburn MAT is a high performing Multi-academy Trust with a reputation for excellence. Their academies work across highly diverse city communities. ·        An experienced leader, confident in leading independently, taking the school forward

·        A teacher at heart, keen to develop well rounded individuals, providing the support they need to achieve their potential

  • The ability to work at phenomenal pace, managing strategic thinking in a fast-moving operational environment.

·        A visible member of the school community, with a positive hands on approach

·        Ability to work closely with Cockburn MAT, the LGB and the community as a whole.

In return we can offer:

•      Children who are enthusiastic, have a thirst for learning and a desire to do well.

•      A supportive and inclusive environment.

•      A commitment to your continued professional development with individually tailored career development and training opportunities.

•      A hard working and dedicated team.

We promote diversity and want a workforce which reflects the population of Leeds.
