The FOREST-FOREST Group consist of FOUR-FOREST schools in Luzern and Zug and LMS-SCHULE in Luzern. The schools were set up as a family business in 2002 before being acquired by the Cognita Schools Group in 2023. Today up to 300 students attend our schools in Zug and Luzern. Around 60 dedicated and highly motivated staff are employed for teaching and support, in various full-time and part-time positions.

About the Role

We are seeking to recruit an inspirational leader and custodian for our children, colleagues and parents as the Head of Four Forest School -Luzern within the Cognita group. The School are looking for a Head who will wholeheartedly embrace the existing ethos and possess the foresight to build upon it and to ensure continuous improvement in all areas to deliver a ‘Cognita Education’, a commitment to bilingualism, and the overall commercial success of the institution. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge, or willingness to learn about the Lehrerplan 21 curriculum.

Applicants must submit a completed Cognita application form and a covering letter addressed to Mr James Stenning, Executive Principal addressing the criteria outlined in this Candidate Brief and accompanying person specification. The letter should be no more than two sides of A4.

The new Head will be expected to take up the post ideally, ASAP (October 2024 or January 2025)
