£22,294 – £26,421 (pro-rata)

(Plus, Temporary Managing Medicines Allowance 2 - £1000 per annum pro-rata)

Forge Valley School is an 11-18 Academy sponsored by Tapton School Academy Trust. Our school ethos is founded on the principal that ambition and endeavour are key components in achieving success. Currently serving around 1500 pupils, our new, purpose-built, £27 million learning environment has excellent facilities to help us deliver our curriculum.

We are seeking to appoint a Health & Wellbeing Officer to provide first aid assistance and advice to the pupils at Forge Valley School. The postholder will provide a cycle of wellbeing intervention with pupils suffering from commons issues such as weight, diets and hygiene. The role will also include keeping accurate records of individual care plans, maintaining adequate stocks of first aid equipment and assisting the Designated Safeguarding Manager with basic safeguarding procedures.

The successful candidate will be able to communicate confidently with pupils, staff, parents and outside agencies and be able to work alongside colleagues in a busy school environment. Being able to work independently and cope under pressure is essential.
