Summary

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and experienced HLTAs to work in our creative and forward-thinking primary schools. The role will be varied and will involve providing support to pupils, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum and experience a sense of achievement.

We are seeking for a high calibre HLTA, with an approved Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths Grade C or above, with minimum 2 years’ school-based experience as TA (or equivalent) to support pupils, teachers and and families at our school.

Hours: 8.15am – 5.00pm (40 hours)

Weeks per year: Term time only

In this multi-cultural school community, pupils are well-behaved and motivated with good discipline and supportive families. The staff team is creative and enthusiastic and has been providing a high standard of innovative education over the course of the lockdown and since.

The school is part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust. Routines and collaborative working are embedded in our practice, but we constantly seek to improve our work and thus seek energetic innovators. Canary Wharf College Trust was approved by the Department for Education to open a second Primary School on the Isle of Dogs. This school opened its doors in September 2014 with Reception and Year One children and now grown to have Reception to Year 6.

Canary Wharf College's aim is “to live, share and celebrate the love of learning”; this is achieved in a Christian environment whilst welcoming children from different faiths and cultures.
