Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Humanities Teacher or Geography Teacher
The successful candidate will:
· Plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual students.
· Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports
· Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn
· Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress
Our ideal candidate will have:
· Experience in teaching Humanities or Geography up to GCSE is a requirement of this post
· A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
· At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
· QTS/QTLS is advantageous

Westfield House School are expanding - We have just had a purpose built £2.5 million school added to our current woodland grounds and are excited to be starting the journey of developing the school and its offer to new pupils.
