Job overview
BGS is looking to appoint an ICT Technician to join the ICT services team. This is a fixed term contract until August 2026.
The role involves providing initial triage and support for all ICT issues in the school, implementing fixes where possible, and escalation to senior colleagues where required. The Schools systems comprise of a primarily windows network, with an HP/Aruba networking core and wireless infrastructure. Pupils have access to iPads on a 1to1 basis, and Microsoft cloud services.
You will be a key member of the team to be part of and progress the school's ICT strategy. The role is very much intended as a learning role, with the opportunity for the IT technician to work with more experienced colleagues to resolve complex issues, where possible.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT and strong IT skills.
