About Us
At Sandwell Academy, we are guided by our core values: be brave, be kind, be proud. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth, respect, and achievement for all students. Recently, our new welfare system has reduced suspensions by promoting restorative practices and targeted interventions. Our IEC Manager plays a key role in this approach, helping students reflect on their actions and supporting their reintegration into the classroom.
The Role
As our IEC Manager, you will:

- Support students on a reintegration plan, preparing them for a successful transition back into their regular classes.
- Organise work for students in line with their daily timetable, ensuring they stay engaged with their curriculum.
- Update Heads of Year on students' daily progress, providing essential insights for ongoing support.
- Collaborate with pastoral, welfare, and teaching teams to create individualised plans for each student.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with staff, students, and parents regarding progress and support.
- Foster a positive, restorative approach to behaviour that aligns with our school values.
Who We’re Looking For

- Has experience in a pastoral, behaviour management, or similar role within an educational setting.
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
