Position Summary:

The Islamic Mentor will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative Islamic Education lessons to non-native speakers. The ideal candidate will embrace innovative teaching practices, tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of each student. This role will require adaptability, creativity, and a passion for fostering a love of learning in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Islamic Education to non-native speakers from Years 2 to 8, ensuring lessons are aligned with the UAE’s curriculum standards.
• Embrace an innovative approach to curriculum design, applying updated best practices in education.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment, catering to diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests.
• Promote high standards of communication, collaboration, curiosity, and creativity among students.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of integrating Islamic values within the broader educational context, fostering spiritual and academic growth.
• Model effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Islamic Education.
• Experience teaching Islamic Studies within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of adapting lessons for non-native speakers.
• Proven ability to innovate and tailor curriculum to meet the individual needs of learners.
• Experience working within a primary curriculum, particularly with the development of literacy and numeracy skills in an Islamic context.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
