About the IT Department:  

The IT department offers a dynamic and supportive environment for IT professionals at all career stages. The central IT team ensures smooth operation of the Trust’s systems, resolves infrastructure issues, and provides technology guidance. Team members deliver excellent IT support and customer service, collaborating with Regional IT Managers and school IT staff. The role is diverse, involving tasks from system failures to event support at Head Office. Creative Education Trust is at the forefront of the MAT sector, investing in advanced Cloud based MIS and HR/Payroll systems, making it a great place to work and grow.


About You:

As an IT Engineer at Creative Education Trust, you will bring your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our technology systems, providing essential support and guidance to our schools and Head Office. Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to provide a high-quality professional IT service.
  • Possess strong personal drive, be self-motivated and a willingness to get things done.
  • A confidence in dealing with all levels of stakeholders with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements:

To apply for the IT Engineer opportunity, you must hold:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Recent and relevant experience working in the IT sector.
  • Knowledge and experience of common Microsoft desktop applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Server and desktop Operating Systems such as Windows 10 and 11.
