The school is purpose-built, with state-of-the-art facilities designed to support excellence in teaching and learning and is now looking for an outstanding leader to fulfil the role of Junior School Principal from August 2025 or January 2026.

Reporting to the Head, the Junior School Principal will join at a particularly exciting time as the school enters its sixth year (with enrollment nearing 1,400 students) and will oversee all aspects of the Junior School and its ongoing expansion and development, supported by four deputies, whilst contributing to the strategic direction of the entire School.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the future of a leading international school and will be responsible for maintaining the School’s ethos and achieving its aims whilst having a proven record of success as they will play a key role in leading the Junior School (Grades Pre KG to G5) as it continues to grow. They will have an appreciation and interest in Singaporean culture, and a drive to bring the best of British and global education and innovative thinking, as well as a collaborative and enabling style. They will form strong relationships with staff, students and parents in Singapore, as well as with the wider NLCS Group. The opportunity will suit an ambitious and forward-looking Head currently based in a leading premium international school or top-performing UK independent school. This person will bring diverse leadership attributes and a genuine affinity for the distinctive ethos and values of NLCS (Singapore).

Since 1850, North London Collegiate School (UK) has maintained its reputation for providing an outstanding education. With two international campuses successfully established in Jeju, South Korea and Dubai, UAE, the school plans to open its third in the cosmopolitan city-state of Singapore in September 2020. NLCS (Singapore) intends to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) education to boys and girls from age 3 to 18.
