In an exciting collaboration with the Wake County Public School System, we are hiring creative and dedicated professionals who believe all children can be successful. Walnut Creek Elementary is part of the Wake County Public School System, which aims to provide relevant and engaging education and create students who are collaborative, creative, effective communicators, and critical thinkers.

North Carolina is renowned for its incredible natural beauty and vibrant cities. With the Blue Ridge Mountains in the west, coastal beach towns in the east, and 41 state parks, many places exist for families and solo adventurers to explore. Raleigh, the state capital, is located in the centre of the state and is part of the “Triangle,” an area recently ranked as the #2 place in the country to live by the U.S. News and World Report. Charlotte, the state’s largest city, is home to several major sports teams and various museums to explore.

We are looking for passionate elementary school teachers ready for a transformative international teaching experience that will advance the growth and development of your professional and personal life. All applicants must hold a Primary teaching qualification and currently teach within a Primary school setting. 

All international candidates are required to apply for a teaching position in the USA directly with Participate Learning. Participate Learning has been an official BridgeUSA exchange visitor program with the U.S. Department of State for more than 30 years and has helped more than 10,000 international educators experience teaching full-time in the U.S. Participate Learning is designated to screen, provide visa sponsorship, and support participants throughout their stay in the United States in conjunction with their host school. Candidates must successfully complete Participate Learning’s application process to be considered for this position.
