Unique Job Opportunity:

KK International School (KKIS) is an emerging educational institution situated on the Thai-Myanmar border, currently in the process of constructing a new school complex in a new location. KKIS offers a unique professional development opportunity to shift students from Thailand standards to the British Curriculum, and shape the future of education in a remote, diverse, geographical and cross-cultural setting.

 Job Summary:

The KS2 Homeroom Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality education across core subjects (English, Maths, Science, and Citizenship/PSHE) within the framework of the British Curriculum. The role emphasizes fostering holistic development through embedding life skills and the 4Cs into the curriculum while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery: Plan and execute lessons that are dynamic and aligned with the British Curriculum, while integrating essential skills for students’ personal and academic growth.

Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Implement formative and summative assessment strategies, maintain accurate records, and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders. Utilize digital platforms such as Google Drive and Google Classroom for documentation and student engagement.

Supervisory Duties: Oversee Classroom Assistants during outdoor supervision and student pick-up/drop-off rotations and support after-school programs as needed.

Collaboration & Teamwork: Work in partnership with a multicultural teaching staff, ELL specialists, and administrative teams to ensure seamless educational delivery and support for all students.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians and actively participate in school meetings, events, and extracurricular activities.

Additional Responsibilities: Adhere to KKIS school policies, contribute to extracurricular programs, and participate in professional development opportunities.
