We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Academic Learning Mentor to support pupils to develop their learning skills. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting students through a wide range of interventions designed to increase engagement in education and raise attainment. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills to enable them build and maintain strong relationships with pupils and their families. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in partnership with school staff and other agencies. As well as being responsible for pupil support initiatives such as peer and academic mentoring, the successful candidate will need to be a highly efficient administrator with excellent ICT skills, to maintain school records.


The hours for this vacancy are 30 per week/39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 inset/additional days), and are Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm.
