We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and creative Learning Mentor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solution-focused, flexible and empathetic individual to join an innovative and successful academy.

The role will include supporting individual pupils as well as organising and running group activities and helping our Heads of Year ensure the emotional wellbeing of our pupils. We strive to create an atmosphere in which our pupils feel safe and relaxed and able to thrive - you will be at the centre of making this happen.

Belvedere was the first independent school to become an academy and is continuing the traditions and standards of its predecessor school. We were judged outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in January 2015. We have high expectations of all our students and we support them with excellent pastoral care. Our extensive Enrichment programme allows pupils to develop into well rounded individuals. Children of our staff have a higher priority in our Y7 admissions process - please see the Admissions Policy on our website or call the academy office for further details.

The Belvedere Academy is a non-denominational, non-fee paying secondary school specialising in all girls’ education and is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust, which has 23 independent schools and 2 academies.  The academy is heavily oversubscribed.  There are 839 students on roll with 273 in the Sixth Form.

The vision of Belvedere is Be Brave.  Be Bold. Be Belvedere. The ethos of the former Belvedere School permeates the academy with high standards and expectations. A blend of old and new, tradition and modern, Belvedere is welcoming and fully inclusive.

Belvedere offers a broad curriculum and students perform extremely well.  Pupils can study traditional academic subjects as well as vocational ones at KS4 or KS5.  There is a focus on developing the whole child and there is particular emphasis on high quality pastoral care.  Opportunities for personal development are high and pupils are encouraged to make the most of every opportunity that is on offer such as the Enrichment Programme.

Belvedere offers a first-class education in a nurturing and caring environment.
