Inclusion Team Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Kings’ School Dubai Inclusion team welcomes applications for a Learning Support Assistant to join our thriving school.
This is a superb opportunity for an aspiring, imaginative and inspirational Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding, creative, innovative and supportive team.
Qualification:
- Holds a High School qualification or relevant related qualification.
Skills and Requirements:
- Have sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Have experience of working with children who need additional support to accelerate their progress.
- Be an innovative, flexible, creative, enthusiastic practitioner and be able to plan and deliver a range of interventions.
- Have an understanding of how to run a range of interventions.
- Have an excellent understanding of phonics, in particular the Read Write Inc programme, and be confident to deliver group and 1:1 phonics session.
- Know and understand how to use a range of strategies to support learning in the classroom.
- Have an understanding of IEP’s and be confident to attend parent meetings.
- Be an innovative, creative, enthusiastic practitioner.
- Be committed to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students within their care.
- Have an understanding of how to manage a range of behaviour needs.
- Be able to develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A valid UAE residence visa is a must for the position.
