Job overview
We are looking for an exceptional individual to work as a middle leader Maths specialist at either Aylesbury Vale Blueprint or Chiltern Skills and Enterprise Centre in Chesham. We work with permanently excluded children and those at risk of exclusion, with a focus on nurture and creativity.
Aspire provides an outstanding alternative education provision and support for secondary aged students. Students attend full or part time and are referred to us by schools and the Local Authority. Our focus is to support young people, together with their families and schools, to reach beyond their potential and enable them to flourish by developing positive behaviours, attitudes and aspirations.
We are looking for an experienced Teacher of Mathematics who demonstrates the aptitude and passion to become the subject specialist across our Buckinghamshire sites. You will possess the vision and commitment to engage students who may not yet have discovered a love for the subject.
We offer Functional Skills and GCSE Mathematics as well as GCSE Statistics as an option. We are proud of our aspirational Mathematics curriculum, going far beyond what is studied in many AP Settings.
We are looking for someone who will help us raise standards even further, and who will love our students, and help them achieve extraordinary things.
Part time contract or flexible working options are available
