Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.

We are currently seeking dependable and flexible Minibus drivers to support with trips and sports fixtures, and also assist students and staff in their journeys to study by running free ‘shuttle mini-buses. We are looking for suitable people to drive these minibuses during the college day, Monday to Friday on a fixed term, term time basis. There will also be some opportunity to support with the supervision of students on overnight stays. 

Successful applicants will need to be over 21, hold a full driving licence with at least category B for a minimum of 2 years or full driving licence with D1 entitlement. The successful applicant will be required to participate in the College Midas certification.

·        Hours: Mon-Friday between 7:30 and 17:30, term time only

·        Salary: Spine Point 8 £24,010 FTE, £14,560

·        Contract: Term time only, end date 4th July 2025

·        Closing date: 9am on the Monday 25th of November 2024 

·        Interview date: Tuesday 3rd of December 2024

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures.
