Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.

We are currently seeking a dependable and flexible Minibus driver to support the free ‘shuttle minibuses’ between the College the railway station and the Racecourse together with general minibus driving duties.

Successful applicants will need to be over 21 have held a full clean driving licence with at least category B for a minimum of 2 years or full driving licence with D1 entitlement. The successful applicant will be required to successfully College the Midas certification.

Applications from people wishing part time hours will also be considered

·        Hours: 37hrs between 7.30am -5.30pm, term time only (38 weeks)

·        Salary: £24,010 FTE Point 8 on the Support Staff Scale (£12.45 per/hr)  

o  Actual salary: based on TTO £20,720

·        Contract: Permanent, term time only

·        Closing date: 9.00am 8th January 2025

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures.
