About the role:
The Nursery Practitioner Apprentice role will begin in September 2023 when classes start. The Apprentice will be based at CLL Nursery and/or Camden Nursery. This is a 18 month contract for 35 hours per week, term time only.
About you:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Apprentice who can support the Nurseries at two of our college sites. As a Nursery Practitioner you will be support the emotional and educational development of young children attending the nursery. You will be expected to provide children with a safe environment to learn, helping them to develop basic social and behavioural skills and engaging them in a range of different play activities. You will also be expected to keep a record of children’s progress and contribute with the planning for the children’s next steps. You will be assigned to work specifically with a small group of children.

About CANDI:
City and Islington College has 5 specialist centres across London, located in Angel, Holloway Road and Finsbury Park, offering an extensive range of academic and vocational courses for all ages.
Our Sixth Form centre located on our Angel Campus offers over 30 A Level subjects to our students, one of the largest choices in the UK, providing high level academic study for around 1,800 students wishing to progress to university.

Westminster Kingsway College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster, serving pupils from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 14,000 students on record every year.
Westminster Kingsway College was founded in 2000 after the amalgamation of Westminster College and Kingsway College. It has learning centres across London in King’s Cross, Regents Park, Camden, Victoria and Soho. It offers students a number of full and part time courses including A levels and vocational courses at Level 1, 2, and 3. The college provides training on behalf of a range of organisations, including South Bank University, Compass Limited, Travelodge, The British Council and Ministry of Defence.
