The BOA Group is a Multi-Academy Trust of specialist academies located in Birmingham city centre, in the hub of the creative and digital industries. Though based in Birmingham, the academies recruit from across the wider Midlands region.

The BOA Group is a distinctive Multi-Academy Trust, which has grown from our first school, Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA). We now have 3 purpose-built academies.

BOA Digital Technologies welcomed its first Year 7 students in September 2022. The next cohort of year 7s started in September 2023 and we will have three full year groups, years 7, 8 and 9 by September 2024. Our vision is to offer a truly unique and distinctive education and provide a new model of teaching underpinned by digital skills and learning. Located in the heart of Birmingham’s growing technology and digital hub, close to industrial and academic partners, and with first-class facilities, BOA Digital is looking to meet the UK’s growing need for a high-class digital workforce.

We are seeking to appoint an office manager. You will be responsible for efficient and effective operations around the administrative aspect of the academy, including our busy reception.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has worked in a busy office environment and has the capacity for a broader role in an academy
  • has excellent communication skills and experience of communicating with parents, students, teachers and external stakeholders
  • has experience of managing office systems, but has the desire to bring new ideas to a work place
  • has the capacity to lead others

This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference. If you share the academy’s vision and ambitions, possess a strong desire to work within an ethos of creative collaboration and partnership and want to have a positive impact on young people, families, and the community then we would be delighted to hear from you.

The academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced criminal records check. The academy follows safer recruitment guidance.

Applications close by noon on 13th September. Applicants may be called for interview prior to the closing date if appropriate.
