One to one Support Staff (part-time)

The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced One to one Support Staff to join our fantastic team. This is a part-time role, working Fridays term time - 5 hours a day. This is a Fixed Term Contract until July 2025.

About the role

You will promote the education, welfare and personal care of pupils, having regard to the aims and objectives of Glenesk School and its policies. Participate in meetings at the School which relate to the curriculum and organisation of the school and the pastoral care of the pupils. Work with and support a named individual during lessons and at other times during the school day and help with and attend school events, trips and activities.

Who we are looking for: 

To be considered for this role you will have experience of working with young children, perhaps as a parent or voluntary worker, confident in the supervision of children, and adhere to defined behaviour management policies and knowledge and understanding of child development and the ways in which children learn. Experience of working as a TA in a KS1 classroom would be an advantage.
