Job overview

We are looking to recruit an outstanding PE Teacher, who is motivated, energetic and possesses a flexible, 'can do’ attitude. We welcome applicants who are passionate about developing sport and can complement the existing energetic, professional PE department. The successful candidate will need strong interpersonal and communicate skills, alongside a desire to be involved in the extra-curricular live of the School. Proven ability and skills needed to work independently and as part of a team is essential. A demonstrable ability to teach our core sports to a high level is essential in order to increase the opportunity for high achievement and memorable moments for the children. To be a responsible member of staff, role model, who will assist in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle to all children. Creativity and enthusiasm is essential to enable children of all abilities to achieve in sport.

Employment Status: Full Time, Term Time Only. FTC for 1 year

About Rosemead Preparatory School

At Rosemead, we strive to provide a balanced curriculum that nurtures the holistic development of each child. Moreover, our sporting achievements are equally commendable, with several students qualifying and competing at the National Athletics competition in Birmingham this year.

Our curriculum is designed to be creative and engaging, with each year group exploring topics that serve as the focal point of their learning. We encourage cross-curricular connections, where subjects are linked to a central theme, often supported by a captivating novel. This approach not only enhances their understanding but also fosters a love for learning that goes beyond the confines of the classroom.
