Contract Type: Full time, permanent, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year  

 

Location: Paignton, Devon 

 

Are you a compassionate individual with experience of working within Human Resources/People Management with a bias or interest in Health & Wellbeing?  Do you want to support staff working in a fast-paced but rewarding educational setting?  Then this role may be an ideal opportunity for you. 

 

We are looking for a People Coordinator (Health and Wellbeing Coordinator) to join our People Team, the focus of the role will be to support the health and wellbeing of our workforce, whilst also supporting the Head of People with providing a business partnering service to an allocated client base in relation to activities such as Recruitment, Induction, Learning & Development and Employee Relations.   

 

This is a busy role requiring a motivated individual that has a positive approach to the mental health and wellbeing of others.  Your empathy and clear communication skills will be needed to help you oversee the college’s approach towards health and wellbeing for staff. 

 

The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 3 qualification in addition to Maths and English at GCSE grade 4 (c) or above.  You will have experience of working within a Humam Resources/People team dealing with generalist activities, along with an interest and or experience in focusing on  supporting staff with wellbeing related issues, You will ned to be  resilient in dealing with setbacks and difficult situations. Having a methodical and organised working approach is essential in this role, along with the ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team.
