Chulmleigh Academy Trust is a family of academy schools, which includes Chulmleigh College, Chulmleigh Primary School, East Worlington Primary School, and Lapford Community Primary School. Our aim is to provide the highest quality education for the children and young people in our care at every stage, with exceptional teaching in a supportive, friendly, and safe environment. We are seeking to appoint an experienced and effective Premises and ICT Manager.

 

The main duties of the role will be:

·       to manage, develop and maintain ICT services to support effective teaching, learning and administration across the Trust.

·       to ensure that all members of the Trust estates team operate effectively to maintain the buildings, grounds and facilities in a clean, safe and secure condition.

 

The successful candidate will be proactive, practical and an enthusiastic team player able to adapt to the changing needs of the Academy and will work closely with Operations and Compliance Manager to deliver excellent management services contributing to our continued success.

 

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to the ICT Support and Premises Teams. The role requires a good level of technical understanding and ideally candidates will have relevant qualifications in some (or all) of the following areas:

·       ICT

·       Facilities management

·       Health and Safety

 

Ideally candidates should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

 

·       A high level of organisational skill, including the ability to work independently.

·       Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively

·       Experience of working in a technical ICT support role

·       Experience of site management

·       Able to work under pressure
