Job overview

We are seeking knowledgeable and dynamic Primary / Elementary Teachers to work as part of our excellent Primary team.

If you are looking for the opportunity to develop as a professional and have the opportunity to live in and explore one of the most vibrant and biodiverse countries in the world, this is the opportunity for you.

The Colegio Anglo Colombiano (CAC) is an outstanding and prestigious international school based in the Colombian capital, Bogotá. Founded by prominent British and Colombian families in the 1950's, CAC, otherwise known as the Anglo, has become the most sought after school in the region and is rooted in its Colombian and British heritage and international philosophy.

There are 1800 students across the school with 533 in the primary section. The school enjoys wonderful modern and well-maintained facilities. The Primary team is made up of expatriate and local Colombian staff.

The school was one of the first IB World Schools in Latin America, delivering the IB programmes from pre-kinder through to the diploma. Primary delivers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). This internationally recognised programme includes the opportunity to develop your practice among like minded professionals.

Staff at the Anglo are a mix of both Colombian and international staff, with many from the UK. Over the past few years, we have successfully introduced talented UK teachers to international teaching.

We offer an attractive two year compensation package (renewable) which includes benefits such as:

  • Annual bonus paid in December
  • Flight allowance including return airfares at the start and end of contract and an annual airfare allowance (based on years of service) to allow travel back to your home city
