We’re seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and student-centred Key Stage 1-2 teacher to join our team in August 2025. Primary: The Primary phase of the school is a two-form entry with partner teachers and specialist teachers working closely together to deliver our unique topic-based curriculum, which is extended from the 2014 English National Curriculum. The successful candidate will be an excellent all-around teacher with good organisational skills and who has initiative and a commitment to all aspects of school life. In addition, they should have a proven ability to communicate well with different sections of the school community. Experience in teaching the UK curriculum and knowledge of White Rose Maths and Read Write inc Phonics would be desirable. Experience or knowledge of teaching a connected learning curriculum is also desirable, preferably using Cornerstones Maestro or something similar. Applicants should be well-organised, child-centred and understand current pedagogical best practice in primary education.

We have a vibrant extra-curricular programme across the school. Candidates able to coach sports, especially football, swimming and basketball, or who would be keen to develop the Arts or Forest School programmes would be particularly welcome.

Our school boasts a vibrant extracurricular programme that includes numerous opportunities for students to excel in the Arts. All members of the Arts team actively contribute to this exciting programme.

About Our School

Garden International School is a coeducational school with around 520 students, ranging from Early Years to Year 13. Our community comprises over 40 nationalities. We follow an educational framework based on the English National Curriculum, which leads to IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Many of our students have English as a second or third language; these students benefit from support from a strong English as an Additional Language department. We also offer a small boarding facility, which helps foster a strong sense of community.

Class sizes are generally small, with students who are well-motivated, engaged in their learning, and supported by their families. Our academic results are consistently impressive, with around 90% of students achieving five or more A*-C grades at IGCSE and an IB average point score of 31.

Garden International School is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), and the Thai Ministry of Education (ONESQA). We are affiliated with the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) and the Department for Education in the United Kingdom. Garden International School (GIS) is a co-educational school of around 500 students, with classes from the Early Years Foundation Stage to Year 13. We have around 40 nationalities represented in our community and use an educational framework based on the English National Curriculum, leading to the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).
