Newton International School Lagoon is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Counsellor to join our team. We are looking for Qatar residents who are passionate about supporting students' emotional, social, and academic development.
Position: High School Counsellor
Location: N.I.S Lagoon, Doha, Qatar
Employment Type: Full-Time (Local Hires Only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counselling services to students, addressing emotional, social, and academic concerns.
- Develop and implement counselling programmes to enhance student well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administration to support student success.
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
- Organise workshops and programmes to promote a positive school environment.
Requirements:
- A degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in a school counselling role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with students, staff, and parents.
- Must be locally based in Qatar and available for immediate hire.
