Full Time or Part time Receptionist post

North Cestrian School (NCS) are currently looking to appoint a Receptionist on a permanent basis. This new post is an exciting opportunity to join the North Cestrian School community. 

Working hours are full time 8.00 - 4.00pm, term time only plus four days or a job share will be considered consisting of 8am-12.15pm or 12-4pm, term time only plus four days.

The receptionist operates as part of the wider Support Team and plays a key role in ensuring the safeguarding of pupils within the school, and the efficient running of the Administration function. Responsible to the Business Support Manager, duties are to:

o  Answer and respond to all telephone enquiries

o  Receive visitors and parents to the school

o  Responsible for ensuring all visitors to the school are registered in accordance with

school policy

o Sign in deliveries and packages / Despatch outgoing mail

o  Provide support to the Attendance officer

o  To use initiative in time management to organise own workload to meet priorities

o  To listen and respond to student queries throughout the day

Salary: NJC Pts7-11 (dependant on experience) £24,294-£25,979 FTE Actual £20,823-£22,267 term time only plus 4 days. If job share role - Actual is £12,052-£12,888.
