Job overview

Hall School Wimbledon is a proudly non-selective, co-educational, all-through 7-18 school in Wimbledon. The school sits on a charming site based at The Downs in Wimbledon. The school is extensively resourced with a variety of facilities both on-site and at our extensive 9 acre playing fields ‘Oberon’ a 15-minute walk from the main site.

We are seeking to appoint a pro-active, collaborative and skilful colleague to the full-time position of School Caretaker for November 2024.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the School Caretaker has daily responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of both school sites – The Downs, and the school playing fields at Oberon, a very short drive from the main site (a full driving licence is essential for this role). Fully supported by the Headteacher and Head of Operations, the right candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our vision for the school premises and help us to deliver an outstanding place to work and learn for everyone in the school community.

If you would like a confidential discussion about the role or an informal visit to the school, please feel free to contact the Head of Operations, Emily Maskell, , at ops@hsw.co.uk

To apply, please send a completed HSW application form with a letter of application (no more than 2 sides of A4) outlining your skills and experience by 12pm on Friday 20th September 2024

We reserve the right to call in suitable candidates for interview, and appoint, before the deadline, so early applications are strongly encouraged.

Applications should be emailed to our Head of Operations, Emily Maskell , at ops@hsw.co.uk to whom further enquiries may be directed.
