We are looking for a hardworking, flexible individual, to provide a safe, reliable and professional transport service for children of Gateway School.
Duties & Responsibilities
The minibus driver will be required to collect a school minibus from the school site in the morning, carrying out daily checks of the minibus before leaving the site. The driver will conduct one run during the morning, collecting children from designated pick-up points and driving them to school. On arrival at school, the driver will hand the children over to the care of school staff, then report delivery of pupils to the School Office and carry out return checks on the minibus. They will then conduct one run during the afternoon, collecting children from the school and dropping at the designated points for parent collection. They will be responsible for the safety and welfare of all passengers during the run. The minibus will be returned to school and return checks will be carried out.
Further Information
The driver will preferably have the relevant requirements to be able to drive a minibus, (D1), and will hold a clean driving licence. Checks will be made with the Disclosure and Barring service to ensure suitability to work with children.
Salary will be £14 per hour
