Key Stage 3 Science Co-ordinator
We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 3 coordinator to play a key role in the leadership of the Science department. We are seeking an outstanding practitioner to support the Director of Learning in continuing to move the department forward building on significant improvements in recent years. The role would be an excellent position for a practitioner seeking to take on curriculum responsibility as they progress towards positions in middle and senior leadership under the guidance of an excellent subject leader. Candidates would be well supported to develop their curriculum, pedagogical and leadership skillsets in a school keen to develop leaders of education.
The successful candidate will bring with them their enthusiasm for science and the capacity to inspire and motivate both students and staff.
We are keen to hear from candidates who will:
- Take a lead in inspiring and motivating the science team in the teaching of Key Stage 3 Science.
- Be responsible for supporting the Director of Learning in continuously improving the quality of teaching and learning.
- Be responsible for monitoring pupil progress across Key Stage 3.
- Make a significant contribution to all aspects of the wider science curriculum.
