We have an exciting opportunity for a Science Technician to join our fantastic Science Team!
Our current technician has been appointed to another role within school which is in line with their career progression and as a result we are looking for the perfect candidate to join the team.
We have a brand new school building which opened at the start of September to our students.
Our new Science department takes up the full length of the top floor in the new building which consists of a brand new prep room, filled with new equipment including a fully secure chemical store. 7 new labs, 2 of which are fitted with state of the art portable fume cupboards. We also store and maintain radio active sources.
We are in the process of introducing Lablogger, which is a new system to us.
Newhouse Academy delivers combined Science up to GCSE level, we also run a KS3 Science club as extra curricular.
We are part of the Rochdale Science Network, working in partnership with other high schools across the borough.
