Secondary English teacher & head of department - IBDP experience required

Metropolitan International School seeks an experienced and dedicated professional to join our Secondary team, starting Easter 2025.

The role will be teaching across lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme English teacher.

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Native Level English teacher to enhance our Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme. The successful candidate will be dynamic, with a strong commitment to developing engaging curriculum and instructional methods suited to the needs of international students.

Candidates should have significant experience teaching English, ideally including the Cambridge IGCSE and IB frameworks, and a qualification enabling them to teach in an English-medium instruction environment. This role requires a deep understanding of English literature and language, along with pedagogical strategies tailored to diverse learning styles.

In addition, we are interested in speaking to applicants about being the additional possible role of 'Head of Department' for the Secondary English team.
