As the Secondary Headteacher, you will be responsible for leading the secondary school staff, continuing to build an environment that encourages their growth and development while promoting collaboration and innovation. Working closely with the school’s proprietors and senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to be a driving force in the developing journey of the school and ensure excellence in the educational experience for all its pupils.
We seek someone who embodies our ethos and values and upholds high academic and pastoral standards. Your strong communication skills, visionary leadership approach, ability to inspire and motivate others, and capacity to manage change and navigate organisational complexities are crucial for this position.

Canterbury School is a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain. At Canterbury, we offer a British International education across all Key Stages. Our curriculum, based on the English National Curriculum, is adapted to our cultural context by emphasising Spanish language and literature.This enables our students to access universities worldwide at the end of their school career.
The Secondary Department caters to students from Year 7 – Year 13, offering a comprehensive range of IGCSE courses in Key Stage 4 and the IB Diploma programme for our Post 16 provision.
