We are looking to appoint a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. You will be working with children with specific special educational needs. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals.

What will you do?
- Act as a role model, set high expectations and support children with special needs and personal care, encouraging their independence
- Support specific learning programs, set and review ILP targets and facilitate access to specialist provisions
- Encourage cooperative interaction among children, support National Curriculum delivery and assist in planning and classroom preparation
- Comply with child protection and health policies, liaise with parents/carers, and attend relevant meetings and training
- Provide emotional and social support, accompany children on trips, assist with pastoral care, and commit to safeguarding and welfare policies

What are we looking for?
- Experience of working with children with additional and complex needs
- Experience of working with relevant age group within a learning environment
- Ability to understand the role of parents and carers, with the ability to relate and build excellent working relationships
- Ability to observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on pupils progress
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
