  • Able to use your own initiative and manage your workload accordingly.         
  • Able to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Able to build and form good relationships with staff, students and external agencies. 
  • Able to communicate effectively and understands the important of excellent customer service.

What the role involves in a nutshell: 

  • Providing first- and second-line support to end users.
  • Manage user accounts in both Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Support the wide range of software that is used within school.
  • Maintain and repair all IT hardware utilised on site.
  • Assist the Network Manager with any projects, big or small, in the school.
  • Manage primary school networks that we currently support, under the guidance of the Network Manager.

Honley High School is a large secondary comprehensive school in Honley, West Yorkshire with approximately 1,280 students aged 11-16 on the school roll.

Honley High School first opened in 1932 and occupies a delightful rural setting in the heart of the Holme Valley. The village of Honley has a population of approximately 6,500 and has rail links to Huddersfield and Sheffield and has regular bus services.

Our expectation is that by working together as a family of schools we will be able to provide even greater opportunities for our learners and greater access to professional development for our staff.  We are pleased that many of our previous Co-operative Trust partners agreed to transfer across to support this new venture and are continuing to work with us to develop our children into well-rounded and socially responsible young adults.
