Salary: Inner London Pay Spine, Grades 24 to 28 (£39,741 to £41,964) dependent on skills.
This position involves overall monitoring and management of the SIMS database, the related modules, other data related software, and the preparation and termly submissions of the school census data. To ensure all student and staff data held on our MIS system (SIMS) is updated regularly so that mandatory returns are accurate and data collection deadlines may be met. On a daily basis, the post holder will work closely with the Senior Leaders to manage and organise the cover for teachers, and on a seasonal basis, co ordinate cashless payments, and assist the timetabler with preparation and changes.
We are looking for someone who:
- pays attention to detail and is able to plan, organise, monitor and evaluate
- demonstrates a solutions-focused approach to problems, and can initiate and develop systems
- can work collaboratively with staff, and all stakeholders
- understands compliance issues generally, particularly General Data Protection Regulations
- Is familiar with Microsoft Office 365 with excellent general IT skills
- Knowledge of SIMS or an equivalent database
- can work at a fast past in this dynamic, vibrant and diverse environment
