Site Manager

Contract type - Permanent, 37 hrs a week

Salary range - Scale Point 14-17 | ​​​​​​​£27,334.00 - £28,770.00

Location - Co-op Academy Smithies Moor

Co-op Academy Smithies Moor are looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and hardworking Site Manager to be part of the academy’s journey to becoming a truly outstanding establishment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, thrive on working as part of a team and be ready to meet new challenges.

Permanent, 37 hours per week over split shifts:

Monday - Thursday: 7 - 11 am and 2:30 - 6 pm

Friday: 7 - 11 am and 2:30 - 5:30 pm

Our ideal candidate will be:

• a hard working and reliable individual who will play a key part in maintaining and improving our school environment and who will have a sense of pride in their role and in our academy.
• able to maintain high standards of workmanship within the academy and be competent and confident in carrying out building maintenance work i.e. minor plumbing, repairs, joinery etc. in an efficient and safe manner to a high standard.
• able to organise and prioritise work effectively.
• aware of health and safety requirements and be able to identify any health and safety risks and deal with them accordingly.
• able to work on their own initiative and be proactive.
