Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join the school's administration support team. Featherstone High is a friendly school that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas of our work with young people.


As a Sixth Form Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide a high level of admin support to the Director of Sixth Form and Heads of Year
  • Maintain accurate 6th form student attendance and lateness records
  • To support the administration of all Sixth Form related matters
  • To coordinate work placements for 6th form students
  • To support the School Administration Manager with the delivery of administrative support across the school


The Successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent administrative and ICT skills, including attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills 
  • A proactive, flexible and problem-solving approach
  • Previous experience of working in a secondary school or Further Education environment would be advantageous
