Support Assistant – Higher Level

The role of Support Assistant (Higher Level) is an exciting opportunity to play a part in many parts of school life. It can be a great opportunity if you are looking to enter teaching at some point in the future as you will gain valuable experience of lesson delivery. It can be an equally exciting opportunity if you’re looking for a career that can positively impact on pupil progress and wellbeing.

This post is part-time (30 hours per week) and term time only plus five training days. The post is fixed term until 31st August 2025.

We are looking for a colleague who can:

• Supervise groups and classes of pupils in the absence of the teacher.
• Plan and lead on individual, group and whole-class learning activities, advancing their learning on a range of topics.
• Analyse and interpret data and complete other administrative tasks that will support teachers in preparing for their lessons.
