Lucton School is a thriving, co-educational, independent day and boarding school set within the idyllic Herefordshire countryside, welcoming students from 6 months to 18 years.

About the Role and You

Working pattern: Part Time, 3 Days per week , permanent 

Salary: Based on experience 

Start date: Immediate Start Available  

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate structured swimming lessons for individuals and groups.
• Develop tailored programs to cater to varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
• Teach water safety, swimming techniques, and strokes with a focus on skill progression.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers by adhering to health and safety guidelines and conducting regular poolside checks.
• Prepare students for swimming assessments, competitions, and awards schemes.

About You

• ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent).
• Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Excellent coach who can lead by example.
• A passion for education and an awareness of wider educational issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A creative and innovative approach for swim lessons.
