The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced  Teacher of Chemistry to join our fantastic team. This is a Maternity Cover position.

About the role

The post holder will teach Chemistry in as effective manner as possible to the range of abilities within our student body and to promote a genuinely positive approach to the subject. You will teach using a variety of delivery methods which will stimulate learning, meeting the demands of the syllabus and the needs of the students. You will assess students’ work in line with school policies and procedures referring to student performance targets.

Who we are looking for: 

To be considered for this role you will be a University graduate and qualified with UK approved PGCE or international equivalent and be able to teach up to A Level. We would also expect strong organisational skills, the ability to manage change sensitively and effectively and clear understanding of effective teaching, learning and assessment.
