An opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate teacher to join the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Haileybury.

We are seeking a dynamic and committed educator to teach Computer Science from Lower School 1 through to the Upper Sixth. Computer Science is offered as GCSE, A Level, and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, alongside bespoke in-house options. These courses cover all aspects of modern computing, including programming in Python, using web technologies like HTML and JavaScript, app design, and understanding the practical and ethical implications of AI. Pupils also gain a thorough understanding of the hardware systems that underpin these technologies.

We believe that computing is about the application of logic to solve complex problems. We emphasise creativity, critical thinking, analytical skills, communication, innovation, and resilience. These skills are essential for pupils to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
