The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teacher of Mathematics to join our fantastic team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role has a January to April 2025 start.

About the role

As a Teacher of Mathematics, your role will be to provide effective and high-quality classroom teaching to GCSE students and ensure all pupils reach their potential through effective monitoring, assessment and target setting. This will involve teaching pupils assigned to you, providing guidance and pastoral care and communicating and consulting with parents. You will also work as an active member of the school's Mathematics department, positively contributing to effective working relations within the school and liaising with teachers and staff from other schools within the Group.

Who we are looking for

You will have a good University degree in your subject area as well as Qualified Teacher Status. You will have recent experience with assessment, recording and reporting and thus have working knowledge of the GCSE specifications. This will mean you are able to teach Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 as well as possess good classroom management.
