An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cheltenham Bournside School as a Teacher of Maths.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join a lively and enthusiastic Maths department. A recruitment bonus could be payable to the appropriate candidate.

The successful candidate will be a key part of the team, will teach Maths across the Key Stages and will contribute to the strengths of the department. They will teach Maths to highly motivated and talented pupils from Year 7 to 13, planning and preparing courses and lessons according to their educational needs and providing guidance and advice on their further education and future careers. You will be joining a Maths department consisting of the Head of Maths, 3 key stage leads and 12 teachers.

The post would be an ideal opportunity for a new entrant to the profession although equally attractive to a more experienced colleague. We have a positive commitment to supporting Early Career Teachers and a comprehensive staff development programme.

About Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre

Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed, non-denominational academy school for students aged 11 to 18. It is located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and currently has about 1,700 students and 360 sixth form students.

It settled in its current location of Warden Hill in the early part of the 1970s and converted to academy status in 2011.
